Back in November 2019, our primary hard drive crashed, forever destroying all of the source sessions for everything dating back to 2014, including the entire New Threads discography, the first season of Bootleg Series, and most importantly: the very first completely improvised free rock jam ever recorded by myself, Justin, and Liz. After a series of attempts to revive it (all failed), we bought a new drive, and the first two things we recorded were a set of lengthy jams. Since the pandemic's hit, I've started thinking more and more about this session, and how much I feel it represents us and our sound so purely. It's true and honest free rock, and I'm proud to give it the attention it deserves. The cow is a stock photo, and Buford is the King.
