This record wasn't part of the plan- we entered 2025 with the goal of making four albums, but while working on Cow Country I had an itch to do some longer-form progressive rock on the lighter end of the spectrum. Where Cow Country leans on heavy riffs and bombastic drums, In Flight is almost entirely acoustic-based, with each of the album's three songs being built up from a single acoustic guitar & vocal track. We each recorded our parts individually and left no ideas off the table- everything was an option. This might be my favorite record we've made to date.
