We were kids when we made this record. Idolizers of Pinkerton and Death Cab for Cutie, dreams of becoming the next Weezer or Jimmy Eat World. Four friends living in a dorm together, making music together, singing about our hardships and adventures together. It wouldn't last long; Robby left the band shortly after this album's release and stylistically we shifted away from the sadboy anthems to something more engaging with the next release. But this was New Threads as it began. We had to start somewhere.
